Bath with shower, spacious lounge with dining room, sofa which converts to a double bed, 21" TV/DVD player with Satelite TV, radio/CD-Player, private patio area with seating for 6 people. A tranquil setting, yet a stones throw from everything that is required for an enjoyable holiday in the Canaries. Therefore we would say a car is not required |

Caleta thrives on tourism with a fantastic golden sandy man made beach popular for water sports enthusiasts which has been carefully constructed to avoid currents ensuring it is perfectly safe for children. The tourist centre of El Castillo the castle stands next to the harbour and is well worth a visit Those wanting to be a little more adventurous can go diving hire jet skis or learn to windsurf at the water centre on the beach The harbour is home to many yachts catamarans and boats which provide local trips. The local 18 hole championship golf is close by. There is a multitude of good restaurants in Caleta that which caters for all tastes at reasonable prices Steaks and Fish are particularly good however there are also Chinese Indian Greek and English restaurants. There are also a number of good supermarkets within the local area Caleta is situated on the east coast of the island 10km south of the airport and 20 minutes south of Puerto del Rosario There is a local bus service
