The Inn, completed in 2005, was designed for guests privacy and relaxation. Its unique furnishings, elegant décor and numerous amenities can only be matched by the finest of hotels. All of the Black Bear Inn rooms have stunning views of the Tongass Narrows. Sirius satellite surround sound greets the guests upon arrival and free high speed Wireless Internet is available everywhere. The Inn is immaculate and all guests are treated to genuine Alaskan hospitality. You can rent all four bedrooms in the main house, the one-bedroom luxury apartment, the two bedroom cabin, or one bedroom with private bath in the main house. The entire property can accommodate 16.

You can get to Ketchikan, Alaska by Alaska Air Lines, non-stop from Seattle, Washington, or you can come from Bellingham, Washington or Prince Rupert, British Columbia by Ferry. Ketchikan is in the Tongass National Forest and has the world's largest colection of Totem Poles. Once you get to Ketchikan the Inn is 2. 3 miles North of the airport and ferry terminals on the Inside Passage. Turn left and head north when you leave the terminals. The Inn has plenty of free, off-street parking on site and additional parking for RVs near by. If you do not have a car, we are on the city bus route and cabs are readily available.
