Description of the area:
The block is located in an excellent central position, just 5 minutes walk from supermarkets, the Port of Estepona (restaurants, bars & shops) and the beach of Playa Cristo.
The apartment overlooks the gardens, pool etc., and is not affected by any Port noise.
We have lived in Estepona for 6 years and consider it to be a very safe area.
The old town is just a 15 minute stroll down the Paseo Maritimo (sea-front promenade).
It is full of charm and character with cobbled streets of white-washed houses, plazas with trees and cafes, a walking street (Calle Real), a Tourist Office, a small covered market, a church or two and lots of little pretty streets to wander around.
The busy N340 road by-passes Estepona so it is easy and safe to cross roads to the beach.
