Description of the area:
The " Costa Verde ", the green coast of Portugal, is yet to be discovered as far as tourism is concerned. Those who are on holidays here will be able to get to know the character of a farming region in the back country as well as the amazing development of the coast town Viana Do Castelo. The clocks still tick a bit slower here.
In Sta Martha, there is a high standard gourmet restaurant. But there are also plenty of simple restaurants where you can get soup, main course and coffee with a bottle of wine for only ¤ 5.-!

On the country road to Viana, you will find plenty of little shops. In Meadela der Continente and just across the Motorway Passover exit to the right, you have a Lidl supermarket! A bit further on, there is a Leclerc supermarket for shopping. You can also get petrol there. |

You can visit the varied beaches so typical for the region North and South of Viana. Capedelo beach (at the Campsite South of the river) is ideal for miles of beach walking. In summer, there are many parties! |
