Description of the area:
Insel Vir liegt rund 25 km nordwestlich von Zadar in Norddalmatien und ist durch eine Brücke mit dem Festland verbunden. Die Gesamtfläche beträgt 22, 5 km. Die 31 km lange Küstenlinie wird durch naturbelassene und unberührte Sand- und Kieselstrände geschmückt und das kristallklare Wasser macht die Insel zu einem Paradies für Familienurlaub. Mit 300 Sonnentagen im Jahr ist Vir auch in der Vor-und Nachsaison ein lohnendes Ziel.
