The holiday region of Forbach with its extensive woods, forest lakes and its wild and romantic riverside scene belongs to the most beautiful hiking regions in Germany.
*Forbach – the ideal departure point for round trips right through to Lake Constance, the Rhine Rift, Strassbourg and the Alsace.
**One of the most beautiful cycle tracks of the region crosses the Forbach area: The Tour de Murg (Murg tour).
***There is also plenty to do in winter in this holiday region. The altitude of surrounding area of the Kaltenbronn or along the Schwarwaldhochstrasse (Black Forest Mountain Road) is ideal for modern, illuminated skilifts and well prepared and snow safe ski / cross country ski runs. “ Rodelbahnen” offer carefree toboggan fun and for adventure seekers, there are plenty of possibilities for snow shoe walking.
