In the midst of a green idyll our farm is located in the Biosphärenreservat Rhön. Beside the stablings a flour mill which is operated by a water wheel belongs to our homestead, too.

Detailed description:

The Königsmühle is the home of ca 20 cows, cattles, pigs, ponies, cats and a dog. Let us show you how to make flour by crushing of grain and be fascinated of the technical in this mill which gets its completely energy by the water wheel!

The holiday flats are appointed with sleeping rooms for adults and childs, kitchen, bathroom and living room. Towel- and linen-service is included.

Description of the area:

Our farm is located in the administrative district of Fulda. The frontier to our neighbour Thüringen isn't far, and you can also go to Bayern in a short way.

It's your decision: Would you like to just enjoy the country life and live with much of nature and animals? Or would you prefer to take a walk along the former frontier to DDR, or perhaps the barfoot-path which is offered by our local commune (Hofbieber)? What about a trip to the district town Fulda and visit some nice barock buildings? Be sure - there's no way to feel bored while you are here! You'll only feel the more relaxed!

How to find us:

If you travel by plane, come to the airport Frankfurt/Main. From here you can take the train to Fulda and buslines direction Tann/Rhön. The busstation's name is very easy: Königsmühle.

If you go by car, drive along the A66 direction Hanau/Fulda. Actually the motorway ends in Neuhof. Take the Bundesstraße 40 (B40) to Fulda and from there drive along the Landstraße direction Hofbieber/Tann.

The distance Fulda - Königsmühle is about 23 km.
