Just 5 metres away you can swim, fish, or boat on one of the world’ s most beautiful bays and southern Europe’ s deepest fjord: Kotor Bay, considered perfect for swimming with its calm waters and warm temperature. There is a tiny beach of a few metres in front of Mimosa and another slightly larger beach on park 100 metres from the house. Dotted around Kotor bay are numerous jetties which are used as platforms for entering the water. Boats trips and water sports can be accessed from Kotor waterfront. This tiny and unique place is considered the pearl of the Adriatic!

Kotor town is a mere 700 metres from Mimosa. It is a fascinating city and, at 2000 years old, is considered one of the best preserved medieval cities in the world. Listed as a world natural and cultural heritage site by UNESCO it is also on the list of endangered world cultual heritige sites. With its myriad of narrow traffic-free cobbled streets it is both peaceful and lively. Kotor boasts many historical attractions and has 10 churches and 7 monasteries within its ancient walls. The town has many lively squares; pubs; cafes and restaurants, and a night scene to entertain all ages.

Other activities are swimming, (underwater) caves, yachting, rafting, kayaking, Sailing, fshing, diving, jeep safaris, panoramic flights, cultural sites and hHistory Tours, visiting the festivals or one of the Meditteranean’ s most memorable night clubs: the Maximus.

How to find us:

Mimosa is located just 700 metres from Kotor City at the entrance of a small village called Muo which lies between Kotor City and Prjanc. It is on the water's edge just past the Muo sign on the left; before the Police Station. The closest international airport to Mimosa is Tivat, about 7 kilometres away. Podgorica, the capital of Montenegro, also has an international airport and is about 80 km from Mimosa. Dubrovnik in Croatia is also close - about 40 km from Kotor. Flights to Dubrovnik can be cheaper and more frequent than to Tivat but if you wish to rent a car make sure you get authorisation to cross the border to Montenegro. Mimosa is walking distance to Kotor and on the waterfront of the Adriatic.
