Description of the area:
Insel Brac ist 40 km lang und bis zu 10 km breit und die drittgrößte Insel in Dalmatien. Zwischen der Inselhauptstadt Supetar und dem etwas größeren Ort Postira befindet sich das kleine romantische Dorf SPLITSKA. Baden kann man zu annehmbaren Temperaturen bereits im Mai, richtig warm ist das Wasser jedoch zwischen Juli und September. In den Felsen finden Sie überall sehr schöne Plätze und können für sich sein, auch FKK ist kein Problem. Eine ganz flache Sand-Badebucht befindet sich in ca. 5 km Entfernung, wunderbar geeignet für kleine Kinder und Nichtschwimmer, da man dort über 20 m in die Bucht in flachem Wasser herumspielen kann. Im Frühjahr bieten sich Wanderungen oder Motorradtouren an, die Luft ist dann erfüllt vom Duft unzähliger Kräuter, alles ist grün und es ist schon angenehm warm (Mandelbäume blühen bereits im Februar).
