The traditional stone built house of the Stratos Family is situated near the centre of the picturesque village of Kalavasos. It has mantained its unimpaired original character for the last 300 years.

Detailed description:

Stratos House is one of the oldest houses in Kalavasos, recently renovated in 2007. Stratos was born around 1865 and he was one of the first school teachers in the whole of Cyprus. He was a hospitable person and Stratos house has always been a place to entertain guests. Mrs Panayiota, grand daughter of Stratos will welcome you at the door step. The House has three large comfortable Apartment Suites, Makrinari traditional Apartment Suite, Petrino Romantic Apartment Suite and Anogio Superior Apartment Suite. Each one has its own separate bathroom and fully equiped kitchen. Every Suite can accommodate up to 3-4 persons and its decorated using authentic, original handmade materials from Cyprus. Description of the area:

Kalavasos is an Agrotourism picturesque village which is located about 30km southwest of the city of Larnaca, 40km from the capital city of Nicosia and 20km from the town of Limassol. It is built up the west bank of the Vassilikos river at an average altitude of 80metres. Its central position makes Kalavasos ideal place to explore easily the whole of Cyprus. n Kalavasos you can find traditional restaurants, coffee shops and mini markets."Tenta" one of the most Neolithic significant settlements of Cyprus about 9000B. found in Kalavasos and also Chirokitia Neolithic settlement is just 4km away from Kalavasos. "Zygi one of the most famous places in Cyprus for its fish Tavernas is only 2km away. Governors sandy beach with the caves and white rocks is just 5km away from Kalavasos.

How to find us:

From Larnaca Airport:
Take the motorway and follow the signs to Limassol. After about 30minutes drive you will find the sign towards Kalavasos. Once you turn off the motorway, you will find a crossroad, turn left pass the petrol station and after you pass the bridge turn left again and follow the road on your right side that takes you to Kalavasos. Be careful not to miss the sign to Kalavasos otherwise you will end up on the motorway again.
From Paphos Airport:
After you leave the Airport to the motorway, follow the signs towards Larnaca, icosia. It takes about an hour to reach Kalavasos. Go straight the motorway through Limassol and keep follow the signs to Larnaca, icosia until you find the sign for Kalavasos which is at juction 15 and turn left.
To find Stratos:
You go straight towards Kalavasos. After 1km you reach a bridge. Left is the "Bridge" restaurant, you turn the first road right and by the end turn left and go straight 300m to find Stratos at 1st April street n16.
