You can walk for miles along the beach and do canoeing, cycling and body-boarding, all included in your stay at the pousada Cavalo Marinho.

Fitness-machines
On fullmoon and newmoon days you may go to the natural swimming-pools in front of the pousada, before noon.

Riacho Doce is about 11km from the bus-station (rodoviária). There are taxis or direct buses (buy your ticket to Riacho Doce at the " Transporte Tropical" -desk). If you travel by a "via litoral"-bus from Recife to Maceió, you can get off the bus at Riacho Doce. Arriving by car, follow the State Road AL- 101 Norte (the road from and to Recife, by the beach). Look out for the only small church on the main-road and several signs before and at Riacho Doce. The distance from the Maceió airport to Riacho Doce is about 28km. We recommend you to take a taxi or to rent a car right at the airport. There are also buses to the center of Maceió (almost every hour), from where you can take another bus ("Mirante" or "Ipióca") to Riacho Doce.
